Un peu de Français – A Touch of France
An evening filled with the refined elegance and vibrant sound world of French music at Tallinn Town Hall. Un peu de Français – A Touch of France.
The program features:
Claude Debussy’s poetic Clair de lune, whose delicate and dreamlike atmosphere creates a magical mood.
Maurice Ravel’s Violin Sonata (posthume) offers refined contrasts and rhythmic playfulness, blending French elegance with touches of modernism.
César Franck’s Sonata for Violin and Piano, with its deep emotional expression and rich harmonies, has become one of the most beloved works in the chamber music repertoire.
The concert will be performed by renowned Estonian musicians – violinist Sigrid Kuulmann and pianist Kirill Lissijenko – whose interpretation brings out the beautiful dialogue between violin and piano.
