The Town Hall can be booked by e-mail raekoda@tallinnlv.ee. In July and August, the Town Hall can be rented for receptions Mon-Thu from 18:00 (the building is open for visitors until 18:00) and Fri-Sun from 16:00 (the building is open until 16:00). Due to regular concerts and frequent receptions, the Town Hall rooms are often booked in the evenings.
The Town Hall accommodates max 100 people. It is not allowed to change the interior design or rearrange furniture (including chairs) in the Town Hall. It is forbidden to use balloons, fireworks (especially the “volcano candles”) and throw rice in the Town Hall.
The wedding ceremony at the Town Hall may be followed by the serving of sparkling wine. For this, a professional catering service must be used, and the provider should be approved by the Town Hall.
A concert grand piano is available in the Citizens’ Hall and may be used for musical performances during the ceremony with prior agreement from the Town Hall.
Background music during guest arrival or the ceremony can also be played through the Town Hall’s sound system using a CD, USB stick, or an iPhone (please bring a suitable USB cable for iPhone connection). The use of the sound system must be agreed upon in advance with the Town Hall.

The request for renting Tallinn Town Hall for a wedding ceremony
The request should include:
- the requested date and time for renting the Town Hall (from… to…)
- purpose (civil wedding)
- guaranteeing the payment
- the personal ID-number and contacts of the applicant: address, e-mail, phone
The accountant of the City Office will send the invoice for renting the Town Hall by e-mail (1-4 weeks before the ceremony)
The rent of the Town Hall is 200 €/hour. Minimum rent for the wedding ceremony is 400 € (gathering, photographing or other preparations + 1 hour for the ceremony). The rent includes VAT.
