9 January - 24 February 2019 the Town Hall is closed for repairs. 

From October to June (except the first week in January), the Town Hall can be visited by advance appointment Mon-Fri 10-16, dependent on availability. Reservations should be made by e-mail or Mon-Fri by phone (+ 372) 6 457 900 or (+372) 6 457 906, preferably 3 days in advance. 

At weekends, the town hall is closed, with the exception of pre-booked and pre-paid group tours led by authorised Town Hall guides (bookings at least 10 days in advance by e-mail ).

  • The attic is closed from October to June.
  • The visit of the Town Hall does NOT include the visit of the Town Hall Tower.  The tower is open in summer only.
  • Tallinn Card is NOT valid for the visit of the Town Hall from October to June (except 27-29 December 2018 and 2-5 January 2019)

Only the main floor is wheelchair accessible, there is no wheelchair accessible toilet in the Town Hall. 


In July and August the Town Hall is open from the Cellar to the Attic - four floors of history! 

In 2019, the Town Hall is open from 25 June to 31 August, Mon-Sat 10-16.
Closed on 6 July, 20-21 August and 24 August 2019. 

The opening hours for September will be announced a week beefore for each week.

NB! The visit of the Town Hall does not include the visit of the Town Hall Tower. 


The TOWN HALL TOWER is open 15 May - 15 September every day 11-18. Last admission at 17.30
Closed 23-24 June. 

Tickets and entrance to the tower at a separate entrance right under the tower, next to the tavern III Dragon.
